I am a Roman Catholic Permanent Deacon in the Archdiocese of Toronto, Canada. I was ordained in 1990 and currently serve at St. John Chrysostom Parish in Newmarket Ontario.
I spent over 40 years working in the energy and environmental sustainability world before retiring, and am still connected in a small way in the Sustainability and safe building operations spheres. My spiritual interests are varied, ranging from ecoTheology to Quantum Theology. But my real joy is in working with people, and being of service to them.
And so, welcome to DeaconGary.net ! I hope that the reflections, musings and other items of interest I post here will be of some use to you, providing insights and perspectives on life.
As we journey together through this era of pandemics, I added a new section to the website called ‘Pandemerings’ – where I posted daily “pandemic ponderings” written as we journeyed through the early days of covid-19 in 2020.
